Which skills and knowledge are required for making successful career in PMI?

We seek for people who have a sense of mental agility and leadership. Leadership is not simply about intelligence, but also common sense and good natural instincts. At PMI the ideal candidate has to think fast, absorb data and generate new ideas; while always keeping sight of the whole business process. He/she needs to be a dynamic people manager, able to delegate, set goals, give and listen to feedback.

They’ll have regular feedback from their supervisor on their performance and longer-term ambitions. Together, they will create a development plan to get them where they want to go.

Employees’ performance and appraisal is done through a global management tool to align individual performance with business results and to develop individual and organizational capability to face future business challenges. This management tool supports supervisors and employees in defining annual business based objectives, assessing individual performance and discussing and defining an individual’s career and development needs.

Which education programs Philip Morris BH d.o.o. Sarajevo offers to employees and how different they are from education programs in other affiliates world wide?

As I have already stated, we organize all sorts of trainings for our employees. Trainings in Philip Morris BH d.o.o. Sarajevo are not different from those in other affiliates. Trainings are divided depending on employee’s performance, career advancement plans and the available openings. We have training catalogues and there are four kinds of programs.

Developing Yourself Programs include trainings to improve employees’ various competencies including but not limited to communication, presentation and negotiation skills;

Developing the Business Programs are focused on advancing management and business knowledge;

Managing Your Team Programs include teambuilding exercises and trainings to improve employees’ managerial skills so that supervisors and managers can better manage and cooperate with their team.

Sales & Marketing In-House Training Programs (BBOD) which is specially organized for our Sales & Marketing department.

Does Philip Morris have some kind of motivational and remuneration system?

With the belief that excellence should be recognized, celebrated and rewarded yes, we have recognition awards, programs designed to recognize those people who have really made a difference to the success of their team, function, and organization and to PMI.  These awards may be non cash award, gross cash awards and framed certificates depending on the merits and achievements of employees.
